Guys, let’s talk about why I have a minimum spend, and that great old adage about how everything is more expensive with ‘wedding’ in front of it…
Firstly, let’s be clear, flowers aren’t a luxury – but a top notch wedding florist is – and how much you choose to invest comes down to what your vision is for your big day. Wedding flowers aren’t necessarily more expensive than regular flowers, but the planning, design, prep and handling to make sure they look their very best all throughout the day does make them more labour intensive, and therefore more expensive.
I’m sure someone in your family could collect some jar jars, and some wildflowers and make some lovely table decorations (Hello 2012!) and if that’s what you are looking for then that’s what you shall have! But you don’t need to pay a floral designer for that.

Just like a talented artist with a blank canvas, a luxury wedding florist thrives on creativity, and having a minimum spend it means I don’t need to cost out to you what flowers will cost you (down to the stem) and stick to it; I can use your budget to get fully in the creative zone, use the flowers that suit the vibe best, and create installations for your big day that bring the impact!
I can choose to use the creme de la creme of florals to bring your wedding aesthetic to new heights, or go for quantities of seasonal blooms to get the most bang for your buck. It’s a totally different way of working with consultations, mood boards and proposals, that takes the stress away from you deciding what you would like, and brings in a floral expert to make your dreams come true.
Probably yes, but I find it’s the best way for us to work together. As much as you want your ideal wedding florist, I also want to work with my ideal couples!

In a word, no – but I do always ask for a budget – I’m never going to give you a per bouquet price. If you don’t want to spend £3000 on your wedding florals, but do want to use my services please just get in touch, I don’t break my rules frequently but when I do it’s for something special. Perhaps you’re planning a destination wedding and want to hand the reins over fully to someone who knows your venue and area, or perhaps it’s a wedding happening quickly so not a lot of consultation time is needed. Or my personal fave – perhaps you’re just a really kick ass couple, planning an epically awesome wedding and I can’t help myself from being a part of it!
On that note I do have some *limited* availability for Autumn Winter 2023 so if you’re planning a short notice wedding, or are just completely unorganised – I’m your gal!
