Hi, I’m Kelly, lead florist and designer at Wildflower & Willow! I’m a passionate, wee bit wild, wear my heart on my sleeve kind of girl and I pour myself into every event that I am trusted with. I founded Wildflower & Willow from a true love of seasonal flowers and a desire to create big, bold and enchanting florals to bring a little magic to my client’s adventures - seeing the smiles on their faces, smelling the scents in the air, telling their love stories and helping them make memories - that is what I do, and that is what I live for.

Meet Kelly, Owner/Lead Designer
I’ll be honest, I never planned on becoming a florist! I have always had a deep need for creativity in my life and being stifled in a corporate scientific role, I knew I would never be happy until I tapped into that. With a love for beautiful flowers, I was led to flower arranging as a way to decompress. I had an eye for it and a naturally talented hand, so, well and truly bitten by the floral bug, I retrained as a floral designer, and have found my dream job creating high end, luxury and bespoke floral installations at weddings and events across Scotland.

I grew up in the Welsh Valleys and following a good 13 year stint living in Edinburgh, it was time to come back to my country-girl roots, migrating south of the big wee city to the Scottish Borders where I now live with my husband, two small daughters and unruly cockapoo. We fill our days with love, smiles and laughter and I try not to take life too seriously, often found singing along to musical show tunes at the top of my (terrible) voice and dancing around the room, and that’s even before the wine!
Over the years, my style has organically developed to one that is loose and free but abundant with beautiful, luxurious and seasonal blooms and my absolute favourite thing to design is big natural style wow-factor installations. I’m inspired by the wild beauty of nature and the beautiful landscapes of my home, adding drama, texture, beautiful form and sumptuous colour palettes to my work, always bringing a little fun and flair to the process. Not being classically trained, I am able to push the boundaries of traditional floristry, adding unusual textures and details to give my clients showstopping flowers that they won’t forget!
Kelly was INCREDIBLE from beginning to end in supporting with our wedding and was a dream to work with. She and her lovely team managed to create winter greenery magic for our Hogmanay wedding - beautiful wreaths, centrepieces and bouquets and exactly the right number of festive trees we were after..and everything else! Kelly was so helpful and guided us through the whole process which made the whole thing a breeze. We cannot recommend Kelly highly enough and are so grateful to Kelly & her team.
